This week

I’ve gone to Joann’s and filled a cart full of supplies for Creative Estates.

I’ve purchased 2 sewing machines to give away at Creative Estates.

I introduced a brand new product – Camera Clutches!  I seriously love them.

I received a boat load of fabric that’ll become Camera Clutches … and … CAMERA STRAP COVERS.  {if you want one from the fabric pictured, let me know – shealynn@gmail.com}

I’ve juggled a million things every single hour… and even at night I’ve dreamt this too.

I’ve played with a totally different medium… clay!

I went to the tire shop 3 times in one day.  Boooring.  So I took self portraits.  :)

I’ve thought a lot about blogging and why I want to blog.  And I realized that for me, blogging is not something I do just fill this space.  I feel like so many bloggers do that because they want to have tons of readers or whatever the case may be.  I want to blog because I feel like it.  Not because I feel like I have to.

I held up traffic taking pictures of the most amazing sunset I’ve ever seen here in Arizona.

I’ve gone to boxing… but that’s not unusual.  The difference is I have sparred {for real sparred} with the men in my class.  And not only did I hold my own but I got a few solid punches to their faces.  :)

I bought 2 cases of pink Rockstar for the Party Like A Rockstar party at Creative Estates.

I got some new shoes.

I saw Underworld Awakening with my husband.  Love Kate Beckinsale.

I bought over 20 hot glue guns!

Vlad and I went for a walk which turned into a run.  We ended up running 3/4 of a mile.  I haven’t been able to run {except down the stairs} in over 13 years!  HUGE accomplishment.

I needed a mouth guard for boxing after I got a head to the mouth while sparring.  I got a bloody lip.  :)  So here I am molding my new mouth guard.  My teeth thank me.

I am going to be writing a few posts this month about business.  If you have any questions you’d like answered, please feel free to leave them in the comments!  I’d love to answer any questions I can!  If you’d rather email me your questions, that would be fine too!  shealynn@gmail.com – you can ask me anything and as many things as you’d like.  There is no limit!  I’m excited to share these posts with you!

What have you been up to This Week?

  1. That’s awesome, now I won’t need to ask my questions regarding your FB post. I just won an awesome blog design and install and I am super stoked. I’ve been wanting to start a blog for awhile now, but since a cool blog design is not in the budget and the free stuff never really felt right I just never got to it. I see people who have all these followers, guest bloggers and HUGE giveaways and wondered if I would feel like a failure if that didn’t happen for me. The thing is that isn’t why I am doing it, I love to write and I feel so out of practice and see blogging as a way for me to revisit writing. So, in a couple of weeks I should be up and running and it’s something that I am doing for me and to get back to something I love. I’m most excited to see the transformation and growth of my writing take shape, like I said I am out of practice so I’m excited to see it start and how getting back into the swing of things will transform my writing over time.

I was just going to purchase the purple and aqua damask clutch & strap tonight but now I am seeing some other fabulous fabrics. I have such a hard time committing especially when I can see what might be coming. Ahhh, the pressure…what to do, what to do.

Clay looks cool. Have no idea what you did but it almost looks like you pressed a sweater or some kind of knitting into it. Cool design.

  2. Really excited for CE after reading this post!

  3. Looks like an awesome week. :) That sunset is AMAZING! WOWZA!

As for blogging … I struggle with this sometimes. There are days when I get so excited because I’ve gained a bunch of new readers but most of the time, I blog for me. I blog because I want to get out what’s weighing on my heart or what’s happening in real life. :)

  4. Great post! I totally need to look into creative estates. might need to attend in the future!

  5. Not as much as you have, for sure! You go girl!
